Sabbath Afternoon

This Sabbath me, Leah, and Deanna ventured out to see the Botanical Gardens of Geneva. We took 'the 13' all the way 'till it stopped, got off at the United Nations and followed the signs to the botanical gardens.
The leaves had all just fallen and were covering the ground. So, of course we had to take some autumn pictures. There were several picture moments, and we took advantage of all of them.
We came across a big, grassy down slope. So we did some hill-rolling. We saw a very unique carousel. Instead of happy, colorful horses, it had rustic, deformed, large animals, like an a frog, a stork and a fish. We would have gone for a ride in it but we are all trying to save our pennies, so we just marveled.
The gardens were full of statues, labeled plants and rocks, cacti, tropical leaves and there was even a bird sanctuary. It was a good Sabbath afternoon.
