Annecy

There is so much to see right here close to Collonge. Since we are here for part of our vacation I thought what better way to use this day to go and see Annecy, a small, old town full of culture, tradition and christmas cheer. So yesterday Kathleen, Peter, Stephen and I went to Annecy.
It was a beautiful little town, right on a lake, with a river running through. The town was built around the river, so often the sidewalks were more like boardwalks. The streets were small and narrow, cobblestone walkways and of course lots of tourists. It was beautiful there though. Supposedly Annecy's water is the purest in France. It was very clear, clear and cold!
