Tuesday I got to make fresh strawberry pie! Technically, it was Leah's birthday...however, I really wanted fresh strawberry pie. So, naturally, I made some. In fact, I made four of them! They were quite tasty, a taste of home in fact. It was windy in the park, so lighting the candles was quite the ordeal.
However, we managed, and I think the birthday girl even had time to make a wish:) Overall it was a successful surprise party. After everyone had eaten their fill, we played a mean game of Red Rover. Actually, it got quite brutal. Who ever thought Red Rover could be so competitive?
