I can't chew sunflower seeds. I was in the car, David was driving and he was working his way through a bag of sunflower seeds. He would put a few in his mouth, his jaw would move around for a bit, then he'd spit the shell out. I was bored. So, of course, I wanted to try. I took a handful of seeds, put them in my mouth and began to chew.'How can you eat these?' It was as if I took a bite out of a hay bale. I felt like the little sister again, trying to be as cool as big brother, doing whatever he was doing and obviously not succeeding...the moral of the story? I think I'll stick to peanut m&ms on a road trip:)
