Well, there weren't just silver bells at Christmas time this year, there were wedding bells too! On December 21st, my sister Kelsey was wed with Mr. Scott Hadley. It was a joyous occasion, complete with family and friends, several dinners, luncheons and showers. It was hot in sunny southern California, so it was a nice hiatus from the freezing temperatures we had been experiencing...(and are now experiencing again). It was nice to see family and catch up with old friends. It was also fun to meet the Hadley family, figure out who belongs with who and how they're all related. The evening went so smoothly.
The wedding party was all family, even the vicar. Yes, Ben married them! Scott had his two brothers and cousins standing on his side, while Kelsey had her two brothers and two sisters standing on her side. We had set up the church with twenty pine trees, interlaced with old windows and fresh, green boughs. 
Everything was sparkling, lit from ceiling to floor. It smelled like the Northwest, like pine trees. Since we couldn't be in Idaho for the grand event, we brought Idaho to it:) Overall it was a hugely successful weekend. They got married. Congratulations Kelsey and Scott!
