Culinary Storm

Part of vacation is being able to do those things that you don't get to do all the time...like cook and bake and scheme up more crazy things to cook and bake. Yesterday, after a good ride up the Spiral Highway, I decided blueberry cobbler was on the menu. It was one of those adapted recipes, you know, you don't really like the fact that the recipe calls for buttermilk, so you use something else. It was actually quite tasty. I think I'll hold on to that recipe.

On the menu for the rest of the week:
monkey bread
coconut macaroons
gluten steaks (traditional adventist fare)
sweet potato fries

I'm not sure how that will all go together, but I don't think you can go too wrong (famous last words:)
