While Kelsey and Scott were home, we had a big wedding reception for them. All the Moscow friends and family came and K & S were properly celebrated once more.
Ben was on the BBQ, cranking out burghers and hot dogs. The ladies picked flowers and Stacey and Jana arranged them beautifully. We gathered vintage table cloths and framed pictures of the wedding.
My favorite part though? Contradancing. We whipped the willow and reeled Virgina...we didn't get to the Grand March, unfortunately. We did the posty's jig and waves of grain, the patty-cake polka, we even waltzed. I'll be contradancing all summer long. The music group was from Walla Walla, and they hold dances at Whitman Mission and Pioneer Park, in the gazeebo! Since a lot of the dances are mixer types, you get to see everyone who is there. Better yet, you dance with them!
It was a perfect setting. The barn was beautiful, rustic and charming. The fields so fresh and green, the company was great and what a good reason to celebrate (and contradance!). Congrats once more to Kesley and Scott!
