On My Way

Nevada is quite possibly the flattest countryside this side of the Mississippi. However, when there are hours spent driving through this flat countryside, I find that a decent respect and appreciation develops for the land. While it's flat and sometime brain-numbingly boring, I know I'm close to the Sierras, close to Yosemite, not too far away from Zion and in the same neck-of-the-woods as the Grand Canyon. The landscape gives you small hi ts of what's beyond it. It's strangely flat yet baiting you on to see what's around the next bend, or whats over the next hill. This Nevada landscape is strange and beautiful.
