My nephew William, loves this video. He starts to tap his foot and he points his finger and moves with the rhythm. It is a clever take on Feist's catchy tune "1 2 3 4". Why not use it to help youngsters learn to count? Sesame Street might just be marketing to aunts, uncles and parents by turning some of our favorite indie artists into Sesame Street favorites for the little ones. Unfortunately their marketing is working. I find this video hilarious. Some other famous musicians have been featured on Sesame Street, artists like Andrew Bocelli and Katy Perry (if you can call her an artist). Her videos are educational in a different sense, not what we want to be teaching the tots right now. Bocelli, on the other hand, performs a delightful take on "Time to say goodbye" by cleverly singing "Time to say good night" in lieu of the traditional lyrics. Sesame Street has truly taken their performance to the next level. I'm not sure what has happened to "The Count" and "Cookie Monster" but maybe they'll chime in with Elmo on some other popular song.
