Baby Boom

There are lots of babies in my life presently. None of my own mind you, but plenty of others. And it’s a good thing.
Having recently started working in the NICU, I spend many hours a week with babies. Not only the NICU, but also being close to my pregnant sisters I sense a sort of familial ‘baby boom’. Not a baby boom of the national sort, but a baby boom on a more local level.
Both sisters are pregnant. Very pregnant. Baby Hadley is due any day now and the Hoehn babies (yes there are two of them coming) are due in January.
