"Well, you're off to one hell of a start"

I had sat down at Olive avenue market to study. There was an older man at the same table. He noticed my pharmacology books and couldn't help but tell me that he was a pharmacist. I asked him questions and he wanted to know about my education and goals etc... After a few minutes of casual conversation I brought things to a close with, "I'm excited to see where it all takes me."

"Well you're off to one hell of a start," he responded. 

I laughed at his response, but his blunt enthusiasm for my career path was warmly accepted.
